Value Delivered

We installed 29 air conditioning units, connected to the main chilled water source, to help protect the data center’s mission-critical applications from temperature increases.

Because the majority of these units were too large to fit into the building, we carefully disassembled 26 units and transported them piece-by-piece in the elevator. We diligently tracked each individual unit, and reassembled them under the manufacturer’s supervision to maintain the manufacturer’s warranty.

Our work helped provide a comfortable and productive data center environment; and flexible, convenient system monitoring.

Client Objectives

This client wanted to consolidate three smaller centers and allow for future growth. To achieve this, they built a new energy-efficient, high-quality data center with back-up HVAC and generator systems. They needed a comprehensive HVAC system.

 Solutions

 Our complete system solutions included:

  • 29 air conditioning units connected to the main chilled water source
  • Four fan coils
  • One air handler
  • Piping
  • Ductwork
  • Controls
  • A backup air-cooled chiller that can operate on generator power

We also installed a scanning system designed specifically for this 24,000-square-foot data center. The system helps maximize energy efficiency by allowing on-site and off-site monitoring of all equipment on the data center floor.
